Free Civil 3D 2010 Demo (Petaluma)

Ideate is pleased to welcome Jim Krautner of Coastland Civil Engineering to the North Bay Civil/GIS User Group on January 13 to provide a Civil 3D 2010 project demonstration.

Jim will use a real project to demonstrate the time savings possible with Civil 3D. He will demonstrate a project that was started in Land Desktop, where three alignments were created: left gutter lip, right gutter lip and centerline. Jim will extract those alignments from Land Desktop into Civil 3D 2010 and then create profiles, a finish grade centerline, an assembly and cross sections with cross slope labels. Join us to learn how Civil 3D will help you save time and avoid recreation and manually labeling of each cross sections when clients’ cross slope requirements prompt adjustments to the finish grade profile.
