Question:
We are working on an interior rendering of an office studio that has exposed ductwork that we plan to paint in different colors (supply vs. return). How do we apply different materials to the ductwork based on duct system type in Revit MEP? We tried object styles but that changed all the ductwork, and the ‘filter’ tool only allows us to apply a color (not material).
Answer:
Very Simple! Just add a Project Parameter called ‘Duct material’ from under Manage>Project Parameters, and then select all the supply/return ducts and apply the materials needed.
